Tell me Now! List five questions that you hate not having the answers to.1. When will I find true love?
2. Am I choosing the right career?
3. Will I be financially stable in the future?
4. Will I find happiness?
5. Will my little sister get less depressed?
This was actually WAAAAAY harder than I thought it would be. I had trouble coming up with the third question, and it took a LOOOONG time to come up with a 4th and 5th question. I think for me, there are a lot of things I want to know, but not very many things that I absolutely can't stand not knowing. Also, a lot of the things I do want to know are either very trivial (ie. What happened to Harry Potter's grandparents? How do employers pay hourly third shift workers on daylight savings?) or things that are pretty immediate, that I know I will have the answers to in the very near future (ie. What is this meeting I have on Monday going to be about? Will I get the summer job that I applied for?)
Some of the things on my list of five are actually things I'm not sure I'd want to know the answer to right now. Because what if the answer is not what I want it to be? Those are some pretty big questions. What if the answer to "Will I find happiness" is no? What if the answer to "When will I find true love" is never? I don't think those are the answers to those questions, but what if they were? I don't think I'd want to know that. Those hopes for the future are comforting thoughts. Thinking that in the future I will be able to find true love or happiness is a good thing. If I knew that I wouldn't, that would really put a damper on my life. After all, finding happiness and love are some of the most important things in life.
What are your five questions? And do you actually want to know the answers?
